Caritas Society

The Caritas Society provides special recognition to those individuals who inform us they have made provisions for any of the Vincentian member ministries through a planned gift or bequest in their will. By sharing information with us now, we are able to express appreciation for your thoughtfulness and work with you to ensure your gift will be used according to your wishes. Members of the Caritas Society are recognized each year in the Annual Report and receive invitations to events of special interest. Bequests

By leaving a gift in your will (also known as a bequest) to VCS, you are making a powerful statement regarding the mission of VCS and the member ministries. Sample language for such a gift would be:

I give, devise and bequeath $_____ (sum of money), or ____% (percentage) of my estate, or ___________ (named property), or all the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate to The Vincentian Charitable Foundation (or named member ministry) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Gift Annuities

A charitable gift annuity can provide many benefits:

• An immediate income tax deduction
• A reduction in your estate taxes
• An opportunity to make a significant gift during your lifetime to benefit the work of the Vincentian Charitable Foundation and its member ministries.

Life Insurance

Do you have a fully paid life insurance policy that is no longer needed to protect a loved one? By naming Vincentian Charitable Foundation as beneficiary of your paid-up policy, you have an easy and cost-effective way to support our mission.
