On Tuesday, October 4, Vincentian will be participating in The Pittsburgh Foundation's Day of Giving. All gifts made to any Vincentian facility through The Pittsburgh Foundation will be matched on a pro-rated basis that day.

It was a regular January morning when 40 residents at Vincentian Home received a special treat – colorful handmade pillowcases donated and delivered by an employee of The Quilt Company in Allison Park.

Marian Manor’s 10th Annual Golf Outing was held on Monday, September 27, 2010, at Montour Heights Country Club in Moon Twp. Despite the rain, close to 100 people braved the weather and golfed. The evening dinner had 175 people in attendance and everyone enjoyed the delicious food and exciting auctions.

Over 100 Marian Manor residents, family members and neighbors celebrated a tropical themed Family Day on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 thanks to Girl Scouts Sam Wildman and Carly Charochak. The event included games, activities and tasty treats reminiscent of a fair.

On Sunday, August 8, 2010, Vincentian Home showcased its new entrance and two newly constructed buildings. Guests enjoyed a variety of refreshments and were able to browse through the building visiting various exhibits and demonstrations along the way.

A national consulting and executive search firm for the long term care industry led the VCS search and quickly identified numerous qualified candidates from around the country. Raymond Washburn was selected for his strong business background combined with extensive management experience in strategic planning, finance, operations, marketing and information technology.
