Make a Difference 

There are many ways you can choose to make a difference in the lives of the frail elderly or children served by the Vincentian system. Please select one of the following funds to help provide joyful, compassionate care:

Unrestricted

Helping us meet the most urgent needs of the frail elderly and children in our care.  Your unrestricted gift gives Vincentian the flexibility and security to respond quickly to the greatest need.

Benevolent Care

Thanks to the many advancements in medicine and nursing care, the frail elderly are living longer and more active lives. Unfortunately, many seniors exhaust their financial resources just when they need them most. Last year the nursing homes of the Vincentian system provided more than $5 million in benevolent care to needy seniors – seniors who have spent their lives working hard, taking care of their families, and contributing to their communities. Your gift to the Benevolent Care fund helps make up the difference in the cost of care. It ensures that no senior in our care need worry about their future.

Member Ministries

Many families and supporters feel a special affinity to one of our member ministries. Perhaps a family member resides or volunteers at a particular facility and you wish to support that home or program. If so, you have the option to direct your gift to one of the following:

Matching Gifts

A matching gift is a donation made by a corporation or foundation on behalf of an employee. The donation matches a contribution made by you to a nonprofit organization of your choice. Matching gifts are a win-win for you, the corporation, and the organization receiving the match. Get more details.

Donate your Vehicle to Vincentian

If you have an old gas guzzler you want to get rid of, Vincentian wants it!  Vincentian has teamed up with Vehicle’s for Charity to make donating your used vehicle to Vincentian easy.  Get more details.

Tribute Giving

Providing a touching tribute to the important people in your life. Because so many of us have all the material things we need, more and more individuals choose to celebrate the lives or accomplishments of loved ones through a charitable gift to a Vincentian ministry.

Caritas Society & Planned Gifts

As a friend of the Vincentian ministries, your planned gift can benefit our residents while also helping you to achieve your personal financial goals. Planned giving can include bequests from estates, charitable gift annuities, real estate and life insurance gifts.

As with all financial decisions, a planned gift should be designed with care. Foundation staff will work with you, in confidence, to help you plan your specific needs and the needs of your family. All planned gifts automatically qualify for inclusion in the Foundation’s Caritas Society.

Named Gifts

Naming opportunities exist for those seeking a permanent tribute in honor or memory of a loved one. Naming opportunities start at $5,000 and may be made as outright gifts or pledges (payable over a period of time). Our staff will work with you to find and celebrate the most appropriate tribute for your gift. We welcome the opportunity to explore possible options with you. Stock Gifts

To donate gifts of stock, please call our broker, Mark Rodgers, at (800) 221-5500. 

In-Kind Gifts

Our individual senior living facilities often request donations of items to be used for bingo prizes, country store items, or gifts to residents in honor of birthdays or other special occasions. Please donate these items directly to the facility where they are to be used. Review our wish list see what items are needed.
